Teatrul care nu ne mai ajunge / L’insatiable théâtre

Filmul vorbește despre esența artei teatrale a lui Thomas Ostermeier, directorul artistic de la Schaubühne din Berlin, cel mai cunoscut regizor german al momentului. Documentarul a fost realizat în timpul repetițiilor pentru Pescărușul de Cehov, produs de Teatrul de Vidy din Laussane. Ochiul camerei de filmat facilitează accesul în “atelierul” de creație, un privilegiu rar, înfățișând poetica teatrală și stilul de lucru ale lui Ostermeier.  Produs anul acesta, filmul a fost prezentat în vară, la celebrul Festival de Teatru de la Avignon, iar acum, în premieră în România.

This movie speaks about the very essence of Thomas Ostermeier’s work. Ostermeier is the artistic director of the prestigious  Schaubühne Berlin and the most popular German director of the moment. The documentary was made during the rehearsals for Tchekov’s The Seagull, produced by Vidy Laussane Theatre. The eye of the camera leads our view straight to the creation laboratory of Ostermeier. A privilege that offers the access to his scenic poetics and working style. Produced this year, the documentary was screened at the Avignon Theatre Festival and now for the first time in Romania.
