CIRCUL INSECTELOR

Lumea magică din Circul insectelor invită publicul să uite de realitate și să se scufunde în lumea ciudată și frumoasă a insectelor. Gândăcei și greieri, viespi și libelule își demonstrează dexteritatea cu talent și mult umor. Spectacolul utilizează în acest scop marionete și muzică compusă special, într-un show cu aer proaspăt care revigorează tehnici tradiționale din perioada victoriană.

String Theatre are sediul în Londra și face deplasări nenumărate atât în Marea Britanie, cât și în afara granițelor Regatului. Tehnica preferată este a marionetelor animate pe un pod, în care mânuitorii nu se văd, iar marionetele devin personaje principale.

THE INSECT CIRCUS

The magical world of The Insect Circus invites the audience to forget reality and become immersed in the strange and beautiful world of insects. Beetles and grasshoppers, wasps and dragonflies, demonstrate their dexterity with great skill and humour. Presented using marionettes and specially commissioned music, the show breathes new life into the traditional techniques used in Victorian trick marionettes.

String Theatre is a London-based touring company that presents long string marionette productions in a custom-built stage with bridge. This form of puppetry consists of the creation of a world where the marionettes become the main characters on stage and the puppeteers are out of view, operating from a standing position on the bridge. The lack of human presence on stage allows the artists to transform a small space into a new world with its own sense of scale and depth.
